im damn worried. haha i injured my fourth finger saving tom's backshot on friday, so now its swelling a little. what if it gets aggravated and i have to sit out the matches against outram and chinese high and even barker? shit la outram should be no problem so i dont care but chinese high and barker! shitshitshit im damn paranoid now please little thumbie get well and dont let me fret over your health ):

haha i realise that now everything else takes second precedence in my mind cos polo season is coming up. yup this is it. 2 years plus of training prepares me for this period. the others have had a year's training more than me but hey ive more than made up for that. so now's the time man. i wonder sometimes what if we do badly in nationals. im afraid i will be disillusioned, training 2 years plus just to be dumped out of a competition i duno if i would be mentally strong enough to face the challenge again in jc. but all that is only if we lose la. after all, the strong possibility is there that we win also right! hai... gotta get rid of all those worries and frustrations.

ive been sleeping like a pig these past few days, as they say, getting into the groove la. this year is the year of the pig out, so its time to pig out! i slept till 12noon yesterday and i slept till 11+ today hahaha wow damn shuang. and ive been eating tons too im too stressed! i cant study because i can only think of my season but next week has got 3 or 4 tests so im really not gonna make it. someone please save me!

haha everytime they announce the waterpolo fixtures, i cannot concentrate on anything im doing. last year was the same too! now all i can think is 19th against outram (which wont be very difficult i surmise) but will be a good start to nationals. then hwachong will be our first real test. looking forward to all of that but i cant focus anymore... sigh.

haha and about the "surprise" on 20th of feb at 0000 GMT +8, well ying jie and tze ern (cake!) smsed me at 12am while i was reading a book. then first...

so me thinking it was the end of the message, i smsed back thanking both of them! then... they start scolding me. ): call me spoiler some more! scold me on my birthday leh.

first things first:

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! yeah the time has come for us all to pig out, to heck care what waterpolo season is coming and just pig out till i become as fat as a certain teacher to have left ri. happy new year to you all may this pig year bring you lots of fun and laughter! haha

and moreover, someone's birthday is coming! 20th is that special day, and i hope you remember who! because if you dont, then what you reading this space for? hahaha 16th birthday very special leh, gives us licence to do alot of things within the law, such as watching nc16 movies, getting powerboat licence, etc...




haha anyway talking about chinese new year celebration on friday first!

i arrived school at around 645am on friday to prepare and meet up with the guys for interhouse chinese new year talentime performance. we prepared and got ourselves damn nervous and everything and we eventually got 4th for upper sec and 3rd overall, even after working so hard. i guess the rest of the houses worked very hard too and the upper sec was really close even though everyone questioned the choices of the judges, but hey, judge got final say la. have to accept it... but had a blast of a time working on it and performing it. hahaha i think my part drew the most laughs when i acted as a malay and spoke chinese in this funny accent and wished everyone happy lunar new year LOL i wore sunglasses (that were my dad's and looked more 70s than anything else) and spiked my hair into a mohawk hahah

after that we bayley people who had performed had fun LAU-ing the YU SHENG that our teacher bought for us and eating all the prize goodies and stuff hahaha that was when the house spirit was really high. great stuff.

after that me and a few friends took 156 to nanyang primary where we wanted to meet our teachers. then we realised that THE STUPID NANYANG ONLY LET EX PUPILS GO IN AT 1330 so i had about 2 hours to burn! haha so i followed carvin to his house which was 10 minutes away and we went there did some rubbish for some time before i went back at 1pm to meet teachers.

spent a few hours there looking for teachers and talking to juniors and stuff. haha im like one of the only few sec 4s who actually bothered to come back la. wheres the nanyang spirit man? after a few hours of slacking around and waiting around staff room I FINALLY FOUND ZHOU LAO SHI!

my favourite teacher from primary school, still old, still shrivelled up looking, still the nicest and most pleasant teacher in the world! haha we had a long long talk about an hour or so about life and her students and nanyang and everything and i must say i felt it was abit like the show "tuesdays with morrie" that we watched last time because its like a teacher who had seen much of the world and spent lots of time in the world, now teaching her old pupil what life is about. continuing the lessons... makes me miss her so much what a great teacher. haha i miss her and ill try to come back on teachers' day and ex pupils' day and maybe next year too! haha zhou laoshi :D

i think its just really great to have people like zhou laoshi around i dont want to lose contact with this old teacher of mine. such a great teacher. haha when i asked her whether i was a big idiot in primary school then she said that everyone was young once and at least everyone remembered the 2003 gep batch of nanyang as "seetow that batch" hahaha WOW



yesterday nothing much happened la went plaza sing to repair my phone screen that keeps coming out before realising that stupid moto repair shop closed at 1530 on cny eve! "£$%£$^

haha after that we went to eat reunion dinner nothing much about that i just got fat thats all and ate some shark's fin and lau yu sheng again stuff like that la




TODAY IS CHINESE NEW YEAR FIRST DAY!

haha drove my cousin from bishan mrt before going another cousin's house. there we played ps2, talked about army, about how to slack army and stuff like that before we went another cousin's house and came back and played mahjong. very fun day!

haha and i won about 20+ bucks from mahjong today so hmm this indicates my luck very good la this year. must do alot of things this year! haha maybe i should get my powerboat licence this year since i so lucky this year... haha

okay wells i guess i gotta go off! i hope that eveyrone who reads here has a very pleasant new year ahead for you! and i hope that zhou laoshi will have a great year and many great years ahead too and that she can solve her hair loss problem :D

newcastle was fabulously taylor-made for victory as a fantastic dribble by steven taylor (a central defender who isnt supposed to be a good dribbler, but allowed to do so due to the inferior liverpool defending) resulted in him being tripped by liverpool's left back john arne riise (who couldnt rise to the challenge) and earning a penalty in the process for NOBBY SOLANO to slot in the winner past "famed" penalty stopper jose pepe reina.

liverpool scored first with bellamy opening his accounts against his former club newcastle (he was always an asshole) after a poor defensive clearance from harper (wheres shay given whens he coming back!) before another poor clearance, this time for liverpool, allowed obafemi to tap into an empty net. while racing for the loose ball, liverpool defender daniel agger got outpaced by obafemi martins and the poor liverpool defender attempted to outmuscle oba, which is an utterly impossible task considering how bloody weak he is and reina only managed to smash his clearance into agger, allowing oba to tap into an open goal. WOOHOO!

HOWAY THE LADS and we beat liverpool 2-1! right in your face bellamy! ;p

having a good talk with my junior now haha i was wondering why i heard stuff that he wanted to quit polo and how he quite disillusioned and stuff like that so i was damn worried about him especially cos hes my favourite junior i cant bear to see him get sad one la...

i remember in the friendly against chinese high i got into trouble for telling this chinese high poloer off for threatening to elbow him or something if he held him again and i went to threaten him back which landed me in big trouble hahaha

anyways he is my favourite junior and i really hope he stays in polo. tried to solve some of his problems for him but he wouldnt tell me... until he slowly slowly told me after 2 hours haha but these 2 hours well spent la if he resolves his own problems (: ahh why does he seem so disillusioned with polo and his own skills!

i duno how to be a good senior here but i really want to help him i offer to come back after season to train him but he say dont want so how leh. i feel damn helpless la why la why la i want to help him regain his confidence in shooting his confidence in polo you must let me help you!

okay now still talking and i really like him alot well i guess he agreed to listen to me and adopt this mentality that i taught him so that he wont lose confidence easily. you go boy i want to see you become the star player i want to see you fight for your team and win the gold for the c boys this year. go go go

haha okay long time no update

anyway alot of stuff has been happening in these past few days la like the fact that there was no day i slept before 12 and today the same thing happens again. haha so i get tired very easily in school and in training i remember i was late for training on monday cos i was sleeping in class and i overslept even after teacher left i was still sleeping in class hahahaha. so silly of me

i sent my phone for repair on sunday and today i got it back and it functions normally again! yay! and the best thing of it all is that my mom didnt have to make me pay for the repairs because just nice it is the 11th month since i got this phone and it has a one year warranty! hahahaha so thats great la so i wont have to have a forced diet already LOL

today mrs d'cruz our teacher in charge came down to watch us train and she said that i could improve on certain areas of my goalkeeping i wont say what that would be a direct giveaway but okay la ill try to look into it and think about it while trying to sleep to understand it better la hahaha and talking about waterpolo, i think everyone is bucking up already cos alot of people want to make the team for this year b div. people like jinsei and yansheng are becoming very good already shuchin is also very pro now haha but i must highlight jinsei la he is becoming a class act already he is more serious too during training nowadays la so i must commend him! goob job jinsei! hope you make the team (:

i remember last year how a certain member of my team scored a horrific own goal and now its still etched in my mind hahaha whenever i have nightmares about polo ill dream of that shot because it condemned us in our 6-5 loss against barker in last year's opening game of the nationals. last year sucked so i guess we gotta do well this year to make up for the pain of last year and do even better in 2008 in rj... that is if i still want polo and polo still want me. haha duno >.<

anyway i found a picture of myself on bryson's friendster after saving thaddeus' slingshot at the u16 competition and i surmise that it was taken by my juniors during that time. haha it captured one of my favourite saves so i guess thanks guys! haha im quite touched by the fact that he chose to put my picture on his profile and that was the only singular shot of a senior on his profile haha thanks bryson! bryson is my favourite junior :D hahaha
