though malacca is such a letdown... haha but still fun la get to spend some "quality" time with the guys haha tomorrow is our match against kl youth team (under 18) and i want to swop shirts! hahahah sportsmanship is very high on our agenda

an update!

haha i went for work last week and now i decided that im not going anymore... we spent like our whole day working our asses off for them for a few days and what they do? they mistreat us. yes, they mistreat us.

my friend he after be concierge for damn long he go take a mineral water bottle with the hotel logo on it to drink cos he very thirsty, then the GM saw him doing that and screwed him then threw him in so lousy obscure department that no one wants to do. filing lol

so i also not happy lor! so i dont go and ive been telling the rest to not go too. hah we go on strike! even paid workers can quit lor, so non paid workers can also quit right! hmpf haha quite pissed with them for treating him like that la

heh anyway, on a happier note, i returned to training on friday after a week's absence working for that stupid place. haha i thought i would perform really badly cos thats what usually happens to me after not training for some time... but i actually played well! haha duno why maybe a break from polo improves how quick your mind responds? haha

and im going on a trip from 25th-28th november to malacca with the polo team to play the KL youth team and hwachong (i duno why must play in malacca lol) and some other team i think probably malacca youth team or something heh

and we are playing the indonesian youth team on monday and frankly, im not too excited about the prospect. haha rj beat them by a few goals only and rj always thrash us when we play them. but thats not something that i should be dwelling on la haha anyway friendlies are to make friends! and thats something i love to do

heh oh and by the way, youth teams refer to teams consisting of the best players from that region in the under 18 category lol so we die

haha hi everyone!

today was my work exposure programme briefing at the oriental hotel, so i woke up very early for my standards (at 9am) and slacked around before making my way to the hotel and reaching there at around 11am.

we reached there and just slacked around before we went to find the lady who was supposed to brief us and show us some videos (yes, boring!) and after that we went to have lunch. haha lunch was good and then we had to go back to the briefing room to watch videos again.

the videos are super sian! and they are like propaganda tools talking about what oriental mandarin's 11 pillars of success crap and duno what else it was about hahahaha

anyway after those videos the lady who was in charge of us brought us around for a tour of the staff area and quite cool la never knew hotels had such elaborate basements haha a new experience!

she asked us whether we wanted to watch another video but we all said we didnt want to so in the end she just told us that if her superior asked us whether we had watched the video we just say we watch before then can already so she just let us go home early hahahaha

rocks to have such an easygoing person in charge of you la haha i think we go there just give them free labour only lor haha im in the concierge department like got alot of guest interactions, which is good la, cos im talk cock king what. hah

anyway, gtg! tomorrow got work again, sigh. training sia. BORING!

im back from ccal camp and our last two gruelling matches in the u16 competition which took place during camp and so we had to leave camp to go those two matches, feeling tired and dreary and out of energy...

haha anyway i tried to post last friday but it didnt work! i duno why stupid blogger. or maybe cos i tried copying and pasting some crap from this website http://swimming.org.sg/wpcompetition_local-2006_U16.html

haha go read the matches about ri team A vs women's team and vs great white aquatics! yeah ehh i got special mention okay! haha though they spelt my name wrongly...

haha anyway i think that the ccal camp ive experienced these past 3 days was nothing short of inspiring, because its like everyone getting togeter and having this shared experience as a batch of ccals together, and it really shows that we are not just ccas, we are all rafflesians, striving towards that common goal, which is to bring glory to the school.

it really makes me feel proud to wear that badge/crest over my chest knowing that i will do my utmost best to fulfil this privilege given to me, cos its not only a privilege, its a duty too, a duty to uphold the 183 years of excellence that ri has had. haha i guess thats a tall order but i think its good! haha

anyway let me recount the past few days...


monday

was the start of ccal camp. i reached there and got into line and did all those camp stuff like attire check and the confiscation of handphones and wallets (though i kept mine) and went to AVT to listen to alot of talks and speeches on the topic of the rafflesian spirit.

haha i think mr eng and mr magendiran are brilliant speakers, though mr eng doesnt look the like. hes like one chunky pe teacher who doesnt speak clear english, but he has a flair for making speeches and enabling people to like see the scene from what he is saying. haha i really could imagine it. and of course mr mag was as usual the brilliant speaker that he always is, and we polo guys got off at around 3 to go for our match.

i went home and did some business (a general term used here, cos business is something you have to do before every camp) and went off for the match against combined schools. i think we were very nervous or something but we kinda played quite badly and i played badly too like i wasnt totally focused on the match. maybe because of the camp but i cant give excuses la haha

anyway final score 6-9 we lost and i went back to dinner and back to camp feeling damn bloody rotten and feeling like i let everyone down. i guess everyone was feeling the same way and aha i didnt have a good night's sleep to say the least la haha i was really feeling damn damn bad

but i alleviated the feeling la hahahaha cartharsis i went to suan all my groupmates there about my great dinner i had which was long john's (while they had mamee noodles) hahahaha i xing4 zai1 le4 huo4 ohwells


second day tuesday

we woke up and started packing up before they suddenly summoned us to fall in and do pt. hah i got my mc from physical activities so me and brandon sat out and slacked so we saw them doing push ups so we faster volunteered to clear up the campsite if not we would have to go do too because our medical excuses only covered the running part. haha we damn slacker

haha then we kayaked from changi point to loyang there me and weixiang went crazy in our kayak. hahaha we would kayak super super hard until like damn damn fast to near the front, and en route banging several kayaks (not on purpose, of course) hahah and then drift to the back and chiong to the front by banging alot of kayaks again hahaha so that way we reached loyang. haha we also banged the instructor's kayaks quite a few times lol

at loyang we played some games like some game that had one of us leading all the rest of us with a new language that we made up on the spot to navigate through a maze and make it to the finish. haha and other games like seniors planting themselves in a few lines across a patch of grass and we have to cross them to win. haha eventually all the groups won lol we rock! haha i was damn sneaky.

and the last game was tug of war. haha my group got second for that one cos we got beaten by the sheer power of the titus ting and their group even beat the pe teachers! hahahaha and my hand got blistered before the match, how champ of me. haha but all for fun la

then mr adrian chng and another pe teacher drove us to changi point where we picked up our bags and brandon's mom very kindly picked us up from there and we went brandon's house to replenish our energy supply. haha. we reached there and slacked in their living room while brandon went to bathe and his mom brought all the energy food like gatorade and muesli bars and hash browns and chicken pies and alot alot more until we actually felt like we could play against acsi later hahahaha

after that we set off to toa payoh, again kindly chaffeured by brandon's mom and we reached there before realising that mr anthony lim told the guys that the match was at 7pm when it was actually at 6! but luckily we ri guys have this policy of reaching the matches 1 hour early so we called all of them and they were able to make it by 630pm, in time for warm up.

i started the match feeling quite nervous, since it was against acsi and stuff like that. but as time wore on i lost this nervousness and started getting in my stride hahahaha what acs? we went into the first quarter break with a 1-0 lead before briefly trailing in the second quarter 2-1 and then we equalised to end the half at 2-2 against acsi. haha ehh must thank me okay i made some good saves then!

anyway after the halftime break i felt really burnt out already cannot jump anymore hahahaha but i continued to play and they didnt threaten much and we never looked back, just scoring 8 goals without reply. haha i subbed myself out in the third quarter break cos i was dying already and after getting subbed out i just lay on the floor and took in deep breaths. hah camp could have killed me

after the match i was just smiling blissfully and i couldnt even walk properly just staggering from side to side hahahaha but that was really one blissful moment indeed just looking at the faces of everyone and seeing that smile on their faces, knowing that we had done it.

we went for dinner afterwards and went to brandon's house again so that he could get his stuff before we went back to school. haha i bought for my groupmates alotalot of stuff like drinks and chips and i bought for the other group that we always work with group 7 some chips too. haha i was a very popular person yesterday with alot of people coming to take food hahahha


third day today


today was last day and they had pt in the morning which we sat out again. haha they ran around and around and we sat down there talking about last night's match and woah im damn happy again man! haha i feel a true sense of achievement. but let it not blind me, nationals is next year and theres still some time to it.

after pt we had a short talk before we went to unpack all our stuff and pack up our tents. haha in the end some group koped our tent and anyhow packed so they tents were mixed up but the pe teachers didnt care they say they would sort it out later haha how nice of them

we were released at around 4pm and my group had a group debrief which ended some time later and i went to junction 8 to have "lunch". haha a real belated lunch but anyhow, still nice food. haha i miss my groupmates and GIs already!


i think this camp has taught me much la and made me real proud of that badge hanging just in front of my chest. i hope i will make myself and make the institution proud, and fulfil that duty that has been handed to me by my peers when they voted me in. haha

haha sorry for the lack of updates!

yeah as cake said, ive been playing football manager in my free time, which isnt much to start with. and ive been feeling very tired after my matches for RI team A in the u16 competition.

yup we've been playing in this competition and first day on monday we beat CSC 28-3 or something like that. haha for this match i played first half and had no business at all didnt even make a save. then second half i let brian play and jiaolian say let them score a few goals so we obliged lor. haha give them face

second match on tuesday was against great whites. alot of familiar faces la, like aaron and pradeep (i duno how to spell his name) and benedict and jordan. haha we played quite okay against them. final score 12-2 again i played the first half for this match and i kept a cleansheet then i let brian play and unluckily for him they were resurgent after the break and managed to score two goals although he played qutie well. haha

The final score may seemed like it was an easy game for Raffles A but the game was far from one-sided. Great White gave their opposition a run for their money as they displayed grit and determination in their defence. It was only in the middle of the 1st quarter that Raffles A managed to break the duck through Koh Jian Ying in a rare counter attack move. Throughout the rest of the game, Raffles A’s counter attacking play was contained by Great White’s zone defence. Despite that, Raffles A’s fluid attacking moves in the zone formation created opportunities for shooter, Brandon Chong to deliver from the perimeter of the zone. Raffles A’s goalkeeper, Seetow, had a superb game as he was constantly barraged by the Great White attack and his line was only breached in the 3rd quarter. With this result, Raffles A tops Group A and will play the runner-up of Group B on Thursday, 2 Nov. Tomorrow’s game will see CSC play against Great White for the final spot in the winner pool.

after this we qualified for knockout round against national women's team. the winner of this tie would go into the group of top 3 while the loser would go to the group for the 4th-6th playoffs. haha and we won it 5-3. it was a really really tough match and i think we were really too complacent yet quite nervous because of the weight of the expectations. haha the women were quite good, much improved compared to start of the year, probably cos they are now coached by sai meng, our national youth u18 coach. hah hes very good la.

anyway in the match, i let in an early 1 on 1 from some woman and there went my cleansheet! argh after that i was quite angry with myself so i started playing better and i saved this close range wing shot from another woman and plucked another woman's shot out of air. haha first half we were leading 3-1. second half the ref anyhow sack people, i duno whats his problem. sack them also duno the rules. haha anyway we survived the storm and i saved alot of their shots but they still scored two but we ran out 5-3 winners. and guess who got man of the match? look no further.

Both teams were neck to neck from the start with the ladies drawing first blood in the opening minute of play through Dyan’s quick flick at close range. The Raffles boys came right back into the game and equalised with a Koh Jian Ying goal from long range. Recognising the opposition goalkeeper’s weakness in saving long range shots, Raffles A’s following 2 goals by Tom Yet and Lim Shang Cong came from beyond the 5-metres mark. With a 2-goal margin by half-time, the National Women’s fought back strongly in the 3rd quarter which saw a flurry of exclusion fouls on the Raffles boys as they desperately hung on to their slim advantage. Despite 3 consecutive man-up situations, the ladies were unable to breach the tight defence of Raffles A. The best player of the match must surely be Raffles A goalkeeper, Seetow Shiun Yong, as he continually frustrates the National Women’s attack. Raffles A will join Combined Schools and their traditional rival, ACS (I) in the gold medal playoff.

tomorrow marks the start of our u16 comp and im feeling jittery...

havent been on fire recently unlike prior to the u18 comp so cant really feel confident about it all but hey, ill try my best! we are the raffles team are we not? im just being confident la, not over-confident my dear weejin?

hehe tomorrow playing csc and the only person we know in that team is aaron, the saints centreback. quite pro la he but if all the players are around his standard right, should be able to overcome them. hah havent trained with him for super long but i think he never train with the pro jiaolian for some time already maybe not as good as before la hahahha

aiya sorry for talking too much about polo la but after all tomorrow is our competition gotta gear up for it! must be angry angry angry so can play better la according to zhizhi... haha but i dont have violent tendencies! i am very nice when i play polo.. right? yeah i really am! or at least i hope i am

haha sorry for the lack of updates!

but my life has really been boring and ive been slacking alot these past few days. and my dad's back so he is like perenially around so cannot let him see me blogging or he'll find out my blog and start reading my personal thoughts... haha

anyway today was youth u18 training! they basically accepted those who went to train with them and basically allowed us to put ourselves up for selection for the u18 team to go to the world youth polo championships next year and represent singapore. but i dont think ill make that cos training with the A div keepers makes me feel really small. hah

i always thought that my arms were super long and i was mr long arms who can just jump abit and save all the shots. till today... there was this acjc keeper chris whose arms were really freaking long quite substantially longer than mine and he is just damn pro also like yihong the rj goalie. so i guess that leaves me as the 3rd goalie who is 2 years younger than the other two and way way behind with alot to catch up

not that im complaining! as they say, if you train with better people, you get better. so i really hope to get better by training with them, not with world youth polo in mind, but concentrating on the b div crown first. maybe a year or two later ill set my sights on that. i know im one of the best keepers in my year la (im not boasting k!) and i hope to be better than those older than me. hah quite difficult though but im willing to try!

my results have been quite okay la, maybe because ive gotten back my better results. one 4.0 and three 3.6s so thats quite okay but theres still chinese + lit + english + maths x2 to factor in so it doesnt seem so good after all. haha my ss got like 79.1 so that means it got rounded up and yays i got my 4.0! haha thats my only 4.0 of the year lol

arghhh i cant believe ssa (with the coach of acsi the combined schools coach) held the trials during our exams!

he just took away my chances of getting my half colours this year la wahh wth how can he do that! especially when he held the trials during the time when all the other schools were like finishing their exams while we were about to start so at that time only acsi were able to attend the trials.

how smart man. bloody biased lor arghhh my half colours!

anyway yeah i decided im going down for trials on saturday cos i really want to make it! but its damn damn difficult and i heard they have alot of keepers who are older and probably stronger than me too, and maybe more skilful too. so it would be very difficult, so no pressure! haha

we playing u16 match on monday against CSC (chinese swimming club) and i hope we win! if we top our group of CSC and Great White then we'll likely play women's team or ri B team in the semis which we should win easily and progress to the final against combined schools (MY HALF COLOURS!?!?!!)

today was our interclass soccer quarter finals against 3D which we were widely tipped to win, but only ended winning by the skin of our teeth. haha it all went down to penalty shootout, and i felt that i didnt have the composure then to take so i didnt take a penalty haha but in the end we still won 3-2 on penalties after much controversy.

today like got alot of rioting and stuff like that la especially the express guys they crazy one every time a gep class is winning they'll start shouting and hollering vulgarities and referee kayu and shit like that. hahahaha anyway i dont understand whats going on about express and gep and whatnot because everyone will eventually be together right, even though our batch will have the last batch of geps in ri.

maybe itll do the sec 2s and sec 1s and future batches of ri to be mixed instead of being se and ge because it wont cause such a divide to happen and make our ri community more united and cohesive. hah anyway today penalty shootout between 3C and 3M (3M is a gep class) which 3C won, i was supporting 3C even though im a gep and the rest of the geps supporting 3M. haha for the simple reason: 3C isnt as good as 3M so id rather play them hahahahaha heck care what gep express divide we want to win!

today i played the whole quarter final match against 3D and more or less we werent troubled by them la they were content to sit back and hit us on the counter attack which broke down fairly fast and there were a few controversial moments like when gareth struck a sweet shot that dipped just over the bar and the ref said goal then everyone was so shocked before i started shouting goal and making everyone celebrate with me hahahahaha but in the end not counted cos they argue argue until no goal! hha waste my energy celebrating for nothing hahahahhaha im a bloody liar

anyway, wish us luck for our u18 trials and u16 competition!

ahh ssa damn evil!

they held trials for combined schools u16 team during our exam period! wahh wth im sure lor how can like that! i want to play for combined schools i want i want! but then again, playing AGAINST ri would be really weird and jiaolian would make them expose all my weaknesses (though there are none)

but at least the trials for u18 youth team is coming up! u18 is kinda beyond me but im gonna try nonetheless cos its my dream to play for the national team someday and must get into the youth team first before being considered for the national team so yeah... but im only 15 playing against 17 or 18 year olds so i guess itll be really difficult so im not expected to get in. no pressure no pressure!

anyway thanks zhizhi for telling me the trial date cos ive been bugging him since start of the year to inform me whenever the u18 squad is accepting any newcomers to the squad and holding tryouts so i guess this my chance lor... haha i told tom, bra, jian, woosheng, shangcong and tatwai about it already i guess they should be going down, ri power! haha

and tomorrow is interclass quarters + semis + finals! haha i hope our class can win it, cos its quite possible la. haha must get physical and start whacking people, as they say, you make no friends in sports. the hcjc people must be thinking the same thing when they elbowed yinrong and played so without sportsmanship i just had to retaliate right! ahh okay im sidetracking lol

and today i just installed football manager 2007, this new cool game that carvin gave me and boy is it fun! haha but just not fun enough to get addicted, so that means wont be too bad la haha its the game when i can realise my aspirations for newcastle when i be their manager, unlike the idiot whos managing newcastle now and help them win.

im a dreamer, and my star sign is pisces which is supposed to be a dreamer too. haha i have huge aspirations and dreams that i strive to achieve but sometimes are too difficult and beyond my capability to achieve. but i really hope to start on the first step towards realising my waterpolo dream and make the u18 team. i really really hope and i havent wanted something so much since the gold for this year national interschools polo which we didnt get

haha today was interclass soccer and i played! i played the first game, which was the only game our class won... must be due to me thats why we won then i slack the next two games we drew and lost la i admit, my fault that i didnt play more hahahahaha EGO

our first match was against 3E and boy did we get off to a great start! we kicked off and ding laid off to gareth who shimmied and faked abit before shooting straight at shuchin who couldnt keep it out hahahaha damn bully! then right after that they kicked off and we stole posession ding headed us 2-0 up within the first minute! hahahaha

but after that they regained their composure and slowly came back into the game though they didnt have decent chances (due to a very good defender, thank you thank you) and im proud to say that i made a successful dive! (a dive is a fake fall to get a foul) haha dont know why im so proud of it, just cements my status as a conman hahahahaha

anyway, i gained my inspiration from this great defender, who is also the england u-21 squad captain

actually today trying hard to be happy la. today is the 49th day since his passing and its an important day according to do chinese/buddhist doctrines and reading my friends' blog brings back memories of him, painful ones, yet it is better than not remembering.

ahh today when i was watching 3R win their matches it came to my mind that he would have enjoyed playing for them and helping them win. i guess it wasnt meant to be, but i hope everything happens for a good reason and i hope that he is better off somewhere else then he was with us.

and for the first time in my time in ri, i wont be starting for my class! awwww so sad :( haha anyway i dont really like playing soccer anymore. havent played during recess or lunch since like a few eons ago, since our competition period 7 months ago when i stopped playing soccer so much in case i got injured cos i key player la (thank you thank you) so cannot get injured

haha and also good la. our competition starts on monday and me being such an important player (yes, thank you thank you again, my ego is constantly getting inflated) i shall play very carefully and in soccer, a conservative player is a lousy player. so i shouldnt play so much la later hai my class lose

hehe and not bad la cos our class no muslims but other classes have! haha the muslims sure no energy to play properly cos their ramadan fasting month ends on tuesday and we have interclass soccer on monday so not bad la can outlast them

anyways i think our class can win! we really really got quality this year

and on a side note, our polo team has got lots of quality too!

so i hope we can win on both fronts and make it a good few weeks for me :D

hehe okay now im bored enough of going crazy to blog about what has happened to my dull boring life this past week or so...

haha its ironic because during exams i really wanted to blog and let out everything (but i didnt) and after exams i dont feel like blogging already! the desire has deserted me... heh i think blogging is therapeutic

anyways, last week was exams. first day was ss and english, which wasnt exactly very good. heh english they said there were a few topics they would come out, one on international issues, one on generic, and one on local issues. so i thought about the local issues... only have casino right? WRONG. hahahaha i prepared for casino and didnt come out but i did the generic question on winning or losing is better so thats that la. haha i always write about things i dont believe in! i wrote that losing is better than winning hehe and ss was so-so la you never know till you get it back

after that was a weekend, a really really long and tiring one. haha and on monday was chem and chinese, which were both killers. our chem teacher told us dont worry la if you can do your practice paper you can do it la MY FOOT man he conned us! it was how difficult lor im gonna die for that one! anyway should be able to maintain 3.6 la and for chinese the cloze was freaking difficult i jumped words every few words because i didnt understand it and the options they gave were so close! stupid cheeeeena teachers

and tuesday i didnt go school maths exam cos i mugged till like 3am at night and did all the crappy practice papers and revision questions before i went to sleep. then i woke up with a huge migraine and went back to sleep again. damn suay right! i mug so hard for it and didnt even take it! then worst of all i was sick so cannot mug for physics and bio the next day! and they are like ultra mugging subjects so DIE hahahaha

wednesday was physics and bio so expectedly, im dead! physics and bio should be 3.6 la i hope... 3.6 is a wide range 10 marks difficult to drop and rise lol so for this exam im lucky la hahahaha now i know already cannot mug maths till so late! haha

and thursday was my favourite day of all the exams! haha lit in the morning and i lost my lit book so goodjob la haha but i prepared alot of crap already in my other books so in actual fact i wrote my essay on Lear and Gatsby but the only book i opened was Oedipus Rex cos all my notes were inside lol lit is another subject when you can think you done well but come back can get marks like 13/25 and when you think you done badly you can get back marks like 19/25

hehe and friday i went training with tom, woosheng, jianying, kaiyu, yinrong and chee. we played soccer first and then went training (self training leh, so hardworking!) and during trianing we played truth-or-dare penalty shootouts when the guy who scores the least penalties out of 3 must play truth or dare, truth only if not run the risk of getting taupoked hahahaha

so i was keeper first and so i was safe la and didnt lose, yinrong lost the penalty shootouts and he had to answer a question but we didnt know what question to ask him so we just let him off. hahahaha and second round i wasnt keeper i was shooting and i didnt lose! hahahaha so the keeper does have some shooting prowess too! and i whacked in one shot off the post too freaking nice! hahahah that round chee lost and we asked him "name a girl you have ever liked" but he said he never liked a girl before... heh what a cheeeeeter and obviously a liar. anyway we were lazy to taupok so we POSTPONED it till when more people are around hahahahaha

after that i went kk to see the specialist for my flat feet then he recommended some CT scan thingy... just out of exams and into another kind of CT wahh so sian! hahaha after that i went home got changed and went to play soccer again. heh i bet i inhaled enough haze on friday to last me a lifetime already la

and yesterday i followed my mom out to go shopping! hahahaha me and shopping obviously dont mix. remember, im someone who got lost in orchard road before. anyways, haha i followed her out and made myself useful by carrying all her stuff lol then we went suntec city and she went some timberland sale and got me a pair of comfortable loafers wahh so nice :D

and today, we went shopping again. zzzzzzzzzzz hahaha if i follow my mom around everyday sooner or later ill become some shopping pro la i tell you! haha

anyways, another competition is coming up! we only knew about it on friday when i saw mr anthony lim then he told me so i went to tell the rest about it. our first match of u16 is next monday 30th october so i really hope we'll do well! haha i heard acsi is playing too, which is kinda weird cos they usually like to hide their players before national interschools in april. heh maybe they think they are outright winners already la.. DREAM ON MAN complacency killed the cat (or was it curiousity? aiyah same la)

of course, they have a national u18 centreman who will be 1 year older than us next year, and the champion team of their c div batch la. but then again, we dont need fear them. cos we have the runers up team of our c div batch, and a brilliant keeper (me la of course) hahahaha

i really hope we do well and beat barker too! i have never won a competitive match against barker before! ive played them four times in friendlies and we've beaten them in all four but two competitive matches against them and we lost by a single goal each. as they say, third time lucky! i hope to banish our demons against them la

anyways, i koped paul's essay for reference on the issue of sight and blindness and it really came out! haha duno how ill do i think i wrote abit too much and like out of point, but i cross my fingers la haha

after that we went to watch "the prestige" at j8 GV and i must say, it is really good. plot was really intriguing and there were other parts of it nice too la, like the contraptions, and the tricks this kind of stuff. heh after that went ri to play soccer again and i went home and realised we played soccer in like haze psi 113 so thats quite bad... but hey i dont care!

anyways today was english and ss, and IR didnt come out, even though i prepared for it. i thought like woah local issue surely IR but they gave us something about internet or community service crap to write about and the international issue was about 911 and after effects or something so i didnt do that. and i ended up doing the generic issue, about how losing has greater value than winning. haha just gave alotalot of examples about stuff la so i guess that was okay

then ss. haha during the break i koped paul tern's notes (he prepared for the question which was heavily hinted by ss teachers) and read through all of them and used all the points in my structured essay question (yeah, that topic came out) so the essay was okay. then there was source based question and i didnt do that well for the second sbq because i didnt write tone and purpose. so there goes my marks... probably my ss 4.0 too! haha

dont care la. and i think our english teacher now not as good as our first semester one lor. i got like 3.2 for english this semester! and i think i put in more effort this semester than the last. wahh i want ms then back! i got 68 only leh... :(

anyways, i should stop blogging la. take up too much time so i think from tomorrow onwards i will decommission (word that was used extensively in ss) my blog and go on a hiatus till thursday! haha
