YES! Singapore 1-0 Laos
hard fought victory, not brilliant, but enough
yay im happy and sian so ill blog about my class

haha i think it has been a wonderful year for my class 2L'05
and altho it has been a severely trying and eventful year for my whole class
i think we have all thoroughly enjoyed it and have learnt much from this year.

first, there was MOVduction 05 for our class
we put in 40+ hours of work per person...
at the same time bonding together as a class
and we achieved the distinction of being awarded BEST PRODUCTION
however, we narrowly missed out on BEST OVERALL

unfazed by this setback, we set on out for the interclass crown
looking to win our first match, we were deserted by lady luck...
eventually falling at the hands of 2M 1-0.

we did not lose our believe and resolve, turning in another marvellous and scintillating performance against 2H.
however, things were not to be.
we were undone by the crossbar and the posts...
then by a piece of sloppish defending leaving 2 free men to concede the vital goal

so in this turn of events we were suddenly out of the competition.
our players just sank down on the pitch at the final whistle...
still unable to comprehend the turn of events.

our final group match was against 2F...
a match that bore no consequence on our class.
therefore, we deployed our second team
with yanzhi fulfilling his year-long dream of playing interclass as a keeper for us.
and he did not disappoint.
he played well, played brave.
others like readon, shaun, daniel, qianwei, zhihao and choonhiang all chipped in sparkling performances to deny 2F the crucial opening goal.
then in the second half...
several first team members returned to the line up.
and within moments...
samuel put in the opener after good play from our entire team.
the crowd erupted as what was basically a true display of class spirit finally emerged.
this crowd was also the crowd that had been screaming and cheering throughout the entire match.. examplifying the spirit that has grown to be part of 2L'05.

in the end, we won 1-0 in this match of no consequence.
but to us, it bore a lot as we again displayed our love for one another to come out tops.

so kudos to 2L'05 as we leave this wonderful year of sec 2 and pass on to sec 3...
the year when we become seniors of this marvellous school of raffles institution
and start our endeavours in the 'B' div.
